San Luis Obispo to San Francisco

Overview map of most northern third of the historic Anza trail. From Mission San Luis Obispo to they moved quickly to Mission San Antonio and to the Presidio at Monterey. The Anza colonizing expedition had traveled over 900 miles from Tubac and had averaged 14.5 miles each day, or approximately 3-4 leagues per day between camp sites, although some days they traveled as far as 40 miles.
