Vegetation At Fort Ord

Landscape vegetation at Fort Ord near Monterey, California.
Fort Ord

This area now converted from military use, was scouted by Anza colonizing expedition, on way to San Francisco. Notice vegetation reflects less rain as the colonizing expedition would start to move inland from Monterey Bay-Carmel.
